Sisterhood The main goal of the Women's League for Conservative Judaism, the national organization of Sisterhoods, is to serve the cause of Judaism by strengthening the bond of unity among Conservative Jewish women in America. Studying and enjoying Jewish literature, cherishing Shabbat and holiday ceremonies in the home, and perpetuating the beauty of our ancient traditions strongly influence Sisterhood's programs and events. The Brith Sholom Sisterhood sponsors a variety of social, educational, and fundraising activities throughout the year. It also supervises the Gift Shop, located adjacent to the administrative offices, which offers a selection of items appropriate for Shabbat, the festivals and holidays, and celebrations such as Bar/Bat Mitzvah and weddings.
