Endowment - Jerry Hausman (Chair)

The Brith Sholom Endowment Committee, members of which are appointed by the Board of Trustees, oversees the management of the money invested in the Endowment Fund. The Endowment Fund secures our synagogue's future and provides resources to support the synagogue's operating budget, teacher training, Jewish summer experiences, and special programming.

Cemetery (Chairperson = Kenneth Kalnitsky)

Brith Sholom maintains its own cemetery on Graham Street, near St. Luke's Hospital in neighboring Fountain Hill. Please direct inquiries about plot purchases or reservations to the rabbi or the chairperson of the Cemetery Committee.

Library (Librarian = To Be Announced)

Our library boasts an extensive collection of religious texts, fiction and nonfiction books for adults, youngsters and teens, and reference materials. These may be used in the library or borrowed free of charge for a specified period of time. In addition, many books for children and adults are available on carts in the sanctuary. These may be read during services to increase Jewish learning.

Congregational Bulletin (Editor = Judith Rodwin)

Brith Sholom mails a monthly congregational bulletin to each member family and all students living away at school. The bulletin publicizes synagogue activities, presents issues of congregational interest, and provides dates and times of worship services.

Congregational Website (Webmaster = Mark Blass)

The CBS website is a place both to attract new Jewish families and individuals to our community and also to as the quickest way to deseminate information about past and future events. Jews moving into the region or contemplating changing temples get their first sense of the CBS community through our website. Since the success of the CBS website depends on what congregants and staff put into it, it behooves everyone to provide pictures and other information that would breathe life into our Internet window. We need photographers and writers; please contact Rabbi Juda if you wish to support the website, either continually or sporadically.
